When remodeling a historic home, the goal isn’t to recreate the past, it’s to respect it.

For this 1920s bathroom renovation, we carefully incorporated traditional construction methods and design details that feel authentic to the home’s original era. From the craftsmanship behind the installation to the selection of fixtures and finishes, every element was chosen to complement the home’s existing character.

We paid close attention to the details, coordinating new materials with original architectural features and even selecting period-appropriate light switches to create a seamless connection between old and new. This bathroom feels as though it has always been part of the home. A new space that is timeless, functional, and full of character.

When a home starts to feel a little tight, the right solution isn’t just more space, it’s better space.

This addition was designed to give the family the extra living area they needed for everyday life, while staying completely cohesive with the rest of their home. The goal was a seamless extension that feels like it has always belonged there.

Wood LVP flooring was selected to beautifully complement the home’s original wood parquet, creating a smooth flow from old to new. A cozy fireplace adds instant warmth and a natural gathering point, making the space feel inviting in every season. Overhead, the wood detail on the ceiling fan brings in a subtle touch of natural character that ties everything together. Large windows fill the room with bright, natural light, thoughtfully placed to balance openness with privacy. A warm, welcoming addition that feels connected, comfortable, and right at home from the moment you step inside.

This first-floor transformation was all about creating a home that feels brighter, more functional, and beautifully connected.

By removing a wall between the kitchen and dining room, we completely opened up the layout, creating a space that feels larger, lighter, and better suited for everyday living and entertaining. The kitchen now steals the show with stunning three-tone cabinetry featuring soft whites, sage green, and warm oak accents, all topped with Cambria Everleigh countertops. Gold fixtures add just the right touch of elegance. Durable LVP flooring throughout the main level ties everything together seamlessly.

Beyond the kitchen, the home received a refreshed powder room with reeded cabinetry, wallpaper, and custom Cambria backsplash detail. These elevated finishes make a big impact in a small space. The entry was also given a touch of personality with wallpaper, and modernized with a sleek new handrail to create a warm and welcoming first impression.

Every detail was carefully selected to bring warmth, character, and functionality to this beautifully transformed home, creating spaces our homeowners will enjoy for years to come.

A primary bathroom designed to feel open, elevated, and effortlessly functional.

In this remodel, we opened up the space by removing a wall between the vanity and shower areas, allowing the two spaces to finally connect. The space instantly felt bigger, brighter, and now a primary bath that feels more like a retreat than a collection of separate zones.The shower was refreshed with new tile in a custom layout that adds and visual interest and a pop of color, creating a focal point without overpowering the space. A warm wood vanity anchors the room, bringing in natural texture and balance. New tile flooring runs seamlessly through the bathroom and into the closet, visually linking the two spaces and making the entire suite feel cohesive. With a variation of colors, it pulls in color from each of the surrounding finishes. Every selection was made to feel timeless while still adding personality and warmth to the space. To complete the suite, a custom closet system was designed for both beauty and function; maximizing storage while maintaining a clean, tailored feel that aligns perfectly with the new bathroom design.

To complete the project, we added a wet bar that feels as though it has always been part of the home. Designed as an extension of the adjacent kitchen and living areas, the bar features cabinetry that mimics the existing style and countertops that perfectly match the surrounding spaces. The true showstopper is the handcrafted tile, sourced by the homeowners and installed in a custom layout that adds a beautiful pop of color, texture, and visual interest.

This primary bath was completely reimagined and fully reconfigured to better support how the space could actually be used.

We removed the oversized, rarely-used jetted tub and reallocated that footprint to create a larger, more intentional shower while also adding functional linen storage. In the shower, we paired sleek subway tile with natural pebble tile to create a contrast of smooth and organic textures. Clean lines balanced with something more grounded and tactile. It’s a mix that makes the space feel custom, layered, and a little unexpected in the best way.

Texture is what really brings this space to life. Aside from the tile work, a richly textured wallpaper sets a soft, elevated backdrop for the vanity and water closet. To add to it, the backlit mirror glows against it, highlighting the pattern in a subtle, layered way. Floating vanities keep things visually light, adding contrast to the warmth and depth of the finishes around them.

Lighting and detail work add another level of character. Pendants with crackled glass introduce a soft sparkle and movement when lit, while the lighted bidet toilet brings a quiet, modern comfort detail into the mix. The freestanding tub and filler read almost sculptural, anchoring the room without feeling heavy.

Every element works together to turn this primary bath into a calm, refined retreat with just the right amount of visual interest.

The primary bathroom was created as a true everyday retreat. Warm wood cabinetry grounds the space with natural richness, paired with timeless tile flooring that keeps the design classic and enduring. The standout feature is a stunning tile shower with a penny-hex tile floor. Brushed gold transitional fixtures add a soft warmth throughout, tying the entire space together with an elegant finishing touch.

The adjacent hall bathroom received a refreshed, modern update with dark wood cabinetry that adds depth and contrast. A soft, cloudy, solid surface shower wall creates a clean and calming backdrop, while the long vanity mirror helps maximize and reflect the natural light in the space. A subtle green accent wall introduces a fresh pop of color, bringing just the right amount of personality to the room. The overall design feels crisp, functional, and beautifully renewed.

Our team took on a pumpkin carving challenge this October, but with a twist! No official pumpkin carving tools were allowed, only the everyday tools we actually use on the job. From saws to screwdrivers, everyone had to get creative to bring their pumpkin visions to life. Laughter, a little friendly competition, and some surprisingly impressive pumpkins made for a spook-tacular day!

Our team gathered last week to celebrate the season and look back on a year filled with hard work, creativity, and standout projects. We shared a great meal, laughed our way through a lively white elephant gift exchange, and enjoyed the chance to slow down and connect. We are grateful for a team that shows up every day with dedication and a commitment to our PSR values. What a great year it has been, and we are excited for all that is ahead. 

We’re excited to share this beautifully refreshed home, where classic details meet modern updates. In the kitchen, painted perimeter cabinets, refinished hardwood floors, a decorative island, and Cambria quartz countertops create a bright, functional, and timeless space. Updated hardware, a new sink and faucet, and custom lighting complete the look. The bathroom also received a thoughtful update with new cabinetry, countertops, fixtures, and accessories that enhance both style and everyday use.

Adding an addition to an 1800s farmhouse was an exciting challenge for our team. The new space includes three bedrooms, including a primary suite, and two bathrooms, all designed to meet the family’s needs while seamlessly integrating with the original home.

The addition was thoughtfully set back to provide a quiet retreat for the young children, while the front facade maintains a cohesive, unified look. Inside, knotty wood trim, doors, and hand-crafted hardwood floors create a warm, rustic feel with subtle contemporary touches that carry throughout the home. Finishes were chosen to be both beautiful and investment-friendly, and the homeowner, a skilled carpenter, plans to add even more custom wood elements over time. The result is a perfectly tailored space that supports the family’s lifestyle now and for years to come.

This project turned an unfinished lower level into a fully functional and inviting extension of the home. The new space now includes a large living area, wet bar, full bathroom, bedroom, game room, and workout area. Designed for both comfort and fun, it shows how thoughtful planning and quality craftsmanship can make the most of every square foot.

This kitchen received a full transformation, creating a brighter and more inviting space. We removed the old walk-in pantry and soffits to open up the room and let natural light reach every corner. The new cabinetry includes hidden storage inserts that keep everything organized, and the quartz countertops and tile backsplash create a clean, modern look. Black hardware and plumbing fixtures add a sharp contrast, while durable luxury vinyl tile gives the floors both beauty and practicality. The newly refinished stairs connect the whole space and create a warm, welcoming entry.

This primary bathroom underwent a stunning transformation. The homeowners envisioned a clean, bright retreat where they could relax at the end of the day, with minimal cleaning and no grout lines to maintain. To bring that vision to life, we installed solid surface faux marble panels that wrap seamlessly around both the expanded shower and the new soaker tub, creating a smooth, elegant look. Large format LVT flooring enhances the sense of space and adds to the calm, spa-like atmosphere. The result is a beautiful, easy-to-maintain sanctuary designed for everyday comfort.
